WILLIAMSPORT — A federal civil rights suit over the firing of a Lebanese man by a company retained by Lycoming College for cleaning services will proceed. U.S. Middle District Judge Mathew W. Brann on Tuesday denied the college’s motion to dismiss, stating that at this stage of the case, he must take the allegations of Charles Ghalib as being true. The Williamsport man’s amended complaint claims he was terminated by Choice Carpet Cleaners soon after he complained of racial discrimination.
