Travelers using northbound Interstate 5 in Clark County should plan for a lane closure Wednesday. The Washington State Department of Transportation’s maintenance crews will begin to repair the catch basin along northbound I-5 near the Northeast 134th Street interchange. At that time, the left lane of northbound I-5 will be closed at Milepost 7.30, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All traffic will shift into the right lane, according to a Monday news release from the agency. Fixing them now helps keep travelers safe during heavy rain,” the news release said. “For everyone’s safety, please slow down, stay focused and expect delays when traveling through the work zone.”
