Kamloops RCMP are warning people about an online scam after someone fell victim on Aug. 22, according to a press release from police issued today, Sept. 19. The victim was trying to sell something in an open online market and unknowingly put their personal information into a fake banking webpage. Anyone with information about this case has been asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025-27710.
