Then, for each k-mer we show the distribution of the distance from the previous sampled k-mer and to the next sampled k-mer. All k-mers starting with 01 have dist_from at least 2, because we never sample a k-mer with 01 in the middle. The remaining frequent k-mers (+) start with 0111 or 0101 and have distance at least 2 from the previously sampled k-mer.
