‌Residents were urged to stay indoors and away from their windows by police investigating the horror explosion in Pilestredet, central Oslo. In an unusual move, authorities sent an emergency message to Oslo residents' mobile phones, warning them about the blast. The message read: "There has been an explosion in the area (called) Pilestredet. Given that there is still an explosive device in the area, the police wish that people stay away from windows. Our hypothesis is that it is criminals who have an agenda against other criminals, but we cannot rule out anything."
