The crown of the hat bears the outline map of Ukraine from the time of the First World War. The belief in progress, rationality, and scientific knowledge – while ignoring the dark side of human nature – turned out to be one of the precursors of catastrophe: the First World War. If the Shadow remains unconscious, it begins to live its own life, and eventually destroys the illusion of the Persona.
