Moscow came under drone attack overnight as Russia reported one of the largest waves of UAV strikes in months. Between 7:40 p.m. (1640 UTC) Monday and 7:41 a.m. (0441 UTC) Tuesday, Sobyanin reported via Telegram that 32 drones were destroyed. Drone debris damaged four vehicles in Reutov, near Moscow, according to RusNews, an independent news outlet on Telegram. The “Beware, Moscow” Telegram channel posted that residents of the Odintsovo and Sergiev Posad districts, as well as several Moscow districts, had reported explosions likely linked to air defense activity. Videos on social media showed an airliner flying unusually low over residential areas in New Moscow, apparently during the drone attack.
