There is Parent’s Leave, which entitles each parent to 2 weeks’ leave during a child’s first year of life. You are entitled to Parental Leave for eligible children if you are their parent, adoptive parent, or someone acting in loco parentis. If they happen to work for the same company, one parent can ‘transfer’ up to 14 weeks of Parental Leave to the other.
