Following the direction of the class teacher, I deliver individual education programs to support the children with their academic, language, social, play, and self-help skills. We then follow a daily schedule which consists of the children moving between having 1:1 time to focus on their communication and individual education plans and having time at the centre table to complete fine motor, pre-writing/writing targets and engage in play. A huge part of the role as a tutor involves building positive relationships with each of the children and creating a fun and engaging learning environment for them.
