Uber, Joby Team Up to Provide On-Demand Helicopter Flights

But it's what Joby plans to do from here that's noteworthy: The company landed a partnership with rideshare service Uber and is working to put its Air Mobility helicopter flights on the Uber app.
"We're excited to introduce Uber customers to the magic of seamless urban air travel," Joby founder and CEO JoeBen Bevirt said in a statement.
Blade connects customers to private helicopter services that can whisk the jet-set crowd from one urban location to the next.
Credit: JobyIt will be interesting to see how pricing works when Uber brings Blade runs onboard, which could happen by early 2026.
The company created an electric aircraft that can take off and land vertically, giving it the flexibility of a helicopter, but without the noise and emissions.
