Highlighting how capable its latest-generation Ryzen 9000 X3D processors are for esports gaming, AMD claims that its 9800X3D, 9950X3D, and 9950HX3D are the best CPUs for gaming at 1,000 frames per second. The configuration of 9950X3D and 9800X3D with an Nvidia RTX 5080 or 5090 breaks 1,000fps in all six cited games. Ironically, the configuration with a 9800X3D and AMD's own RX 9070 XT could only break 1,000fps in two of the six games. Frame rates above 500 also see incredibly diminishing returns on input lag reduction, making this feel a little redundant.
