Beginning this fall, the Copilot app will automatically install on Windows devices with Microsoft 365 desktop apps.
The chatbot's broader integration is meant to give customers a single access point to Copilot tools within Microsoft 365.
With this change, Copilot will become part of the standard Microsoft 365 experience unless users (or admins) actively choose to disable it.
To disable the feature, system administrators can use the "Modern App Settings" in the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center.
