Google says these icon options should reach everyone when the stable Android 16 QPR2 update arrives in December, the next major Pixel Drop. Android 16 QPR2 Beta 2 also introduces changes for developers. Google has added a developer verification API that helps app makers find out when installations fail because of verification issues.
