Though we've seen lots of frequencies over 12 MT/s, this is the first time anyone has broken the 13 MT/s barrier. It required super loose timings, a single stick, and buckets of liquid nitrogen, but the 13 MT/s wall has officially fallen. Not how memory overclocking actually works. The extreme conditions required to achieve such frequencies severely limit memory performance, and using liquid nitrogen to keep the RAM cool enough is hardly conducive to real-world use cases.
