Dear Mr. and Mrs Johnson and Jennifer: Our hearts broke when we heard of Wade's passing over much sooner than he should have. We liked the statement in the obit about he was a "free spirit", but he also had a kind heart. Although it has been decades since we last saw Wade, we will especially remember the young boy up the street, who, although he rarely came to our house, for a number of years always would show up on Christmas morning. He was a good friend to Dan during those years....the friend who had HBO! How many times when Dan would say he had seen a movie that no one else in the family had seen, when we would ask how, his reply would be "I saw it at Wade's on HBO." May God's grace fill the emptiness in your hearts.
