In Bangladesh, the landmark Right to Information Act of 2009 enshrined this principle in law. This was the impulse behind the RTI Boot Camp, a four-day residential training program in 2021 for young activists, offered by the Media Resources Development Initiative (MRDI), a leading news media training organization in Bangladesh known for its work on the right to information.
