I got stuck in a block schedule that didn’t allow me to explore other interests and I didn’t know who to talk to about switching my major.
Winter quarter is when things started to feel different.
It was intimidating at first because I didn’t know anyone and I wasn’t sure I belonged.
UCR is one of the most diverse schools in the country and you can feel that just walking around campus.
These chances were always available; I just didn’t know how to pursue them.
