Multiple assailants identifiedMultiple assailants have been identified after a Kent Institution inmate was sent to hospital following an assault. Correctional Service Canada reported an assault of an inmate on Sept. 20. The inmate was transported to outside hospital and has since returned to the maximum-security institution. The Agassiz RCMP and CSC are investigating the incident. "In order to improve practices aimed at preventing this type of incident, the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident and take the appropriate measures."
