Fire destroys travel trailer in Pendleton, displaces 2

PENDLETON — A fire in Pendleton destroyed a travel trailer Monday afternoon, Sept. 22, displacing two people, according to the Pendleton Fire Department.
Crews responded at 1:48 p.m. to the blaze at 810 SE Third St., where flames fully engulfed the trailer.
Fire Chief Tony Pierotti said the fire likely started in the kitchen area.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames, but the trailer was a total loss.
The two occupants of the trailer are temporarily staying with a friend.
