It looks exactly like a cauliflower: delicate and foliate, but grey and rubbery, and completely unappetising—unlike my Aunt Agatha’s cauliflower. Looking at those slices of cerebellum afloat in formalin, I thought how unlike Kakima’s cauliflower the humble cerebellum was. That evening, I discovered “Jeeves Exerts the Old Cerebellum”, and, oh my dear Plum, how your ignorance embarrassed me! Yes, Jeeves did exert his old cerebellum, and evolutionarily, it was probably fuelled on fish.
