Clarity is emerging on where Florida’s first presidential library will be placed. Ron DeSantis will propose an item to the Florida Cabinet to convey a 2.63-acre parcel in Miami-Dade County adjacent to the Freedom Tower at Miami-Dade College for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library. Like virtually all Republicans in the state, DeSantis has been an active proponent of Donald Trump’s library. “President Trump has achieved results for the American people and made a lasting impact on our nation’s history,” DeSantis said. “No state has better delivered the President’s agenda than the Free State of Florida, and we would be honored to house his presidential library here in his home state.”The Legislature prioritized the Trump Library during the 2025 Session.
