The University of North Florida is climbing higher in the U.S. New & World Report’s 2026 list of best higher education institutions in the nation. In the latest iteration, U.S. News & World Report listed UNF as the 222nd overall university in the United States out of 436 universities. That’s also an improvement for UNF compared to last year, when the university was ranked No. “We are proud to once again be recognized among the nation’s top universities by U.S. News & World Report,” said UNF President Moez Limayem. The U.S. News & World Report analysis also gave a nod to UNF’s social mobility among its students.
