Classic buses from Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Blackwood, and Caerphilly were on show at the event. Visitors had the chance to talk with restoration members and explore the stalls at the open day. Other buses operating on the day included two 57-year-olds - a Leyland Titan and an AEC Swift, a 52-year-old Merthyr Tydfil bus, and a 44-year-old Islwyn bus. The Barry Heritage Bus Group has already planned its next open day for Saturday, November 1, 2025. The event will take place just after the clocks change and will be running free tips in the afternoon as a Twilight Event.
