South Wales Police attended Ewan Haynes’ home on November 22, 2022, after receiving intelligence that child sex abuse images had been uploaded from that address. He was also found with 1,001 prohibited images of children, as well as extreme pornographic images which depicted bestiality involving dogs. Haynes had the Telegram application on his phone, where he asked another user “Have you got anywhere?” when they said they were trying to obtain child sex abuse images. The defendant also shared six Category C indecent images. Haynes, of Subway Road, pleaded guilty to distributing indecent images, three offences of making indecent images of children, possession of prohibited images of children, and possession of extreme pornographic images.
