"They cannot have failed to see how farming is the artery which provides the lifeblood to every vein and sinew of rural Pembrokeshire. "This was further highlighted by the fact that almost all 10 recipients of long service awards this year came from businesses feeding into and dependent on a thriving rural economy." The show also marked 220 years since the first Pembrokeshire Agricultural Show, and the society has already begun planning for the 2026 event, which will be held on August 19 and 20. Their arable operation spans 2,050 acres of oilseed rape, winter wheat, winter barley, and spring barley. Dylan Thomas (Teulu Evans), Beth Morgan (Oak Veterinary Group) and Richard Vaughan (Pembrokeshire College) also received the awards.
