The 12-metre high, competition-standard climbing wall, located in the sports hall of Haverfordwest Leisure Centre, has been closed since last December’s Storm Darragh damaged the hall’s roof. Although it was not anticipated that any damage had affected the climbing wall, it had to be inspected once the roof had been repaired. It is hoped that the climbing wall will reopen following this inspection. “An inspection of the whole climbing wall is to be carried out following the completion of recent roof repairs,” said a spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council.
