Jordan Hughes, 23, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court earlier this month. Hughes is also charged with oral rape, rape, rape on no fewer than five occasions and attempted oral rape in the Briton Ferry area between September 2023 and July the following year. No pleas were entered at the magistrates court on September 9 and the bench declined jurisdiction, sending the case to Swansea Crown Court for trial. Hughes, of Caernarvon way, Swansea, was released on conditional bail and told that he must not contact directly or indirectly three named persons. The case will next be heard at Swansea Cown Court on October 10 this year.
