Neither the Tenby or Haverfordwest stores were included on this list, with the retailer saying there were ‘no plans’ to shut them. But at the end of last week, it was revealed that the Tenby Poundland will close in a month’s time. The store is now advertising a closing-down sale, with reductions on current prices of up to 30 per cent. Amongst Poundland store closures in Wales is Ammanford, which shut for good on August 10, while the Abergavveny store is on the countdown to its closure this Saturday, September 27. Poundland has also announced that its ‘Perks’ app would cease to function from September 16, together with online deliveries.
