If all the values that find currency in any given social order are but the polite facade of a potentially brutal regime, then must we not also question the leftist worldview Yanis represents? The Union is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities.
