I think the biggest challenge for any team going into any solar car race is just making sure that they're prepared and overly prepared because in solar car racing you're dealing with a lot of electronics and anything can go wrong and so if you're prepared for that one mistake to happen or that one component to die on you, if you're ready to swap it out and get right back on the track and make that fix, then that's the biggest hurdle but also the one that every team needs to prepare for.
