Typically, there are two methods of experimenting with measures regarding sleep (or perhaps nutrition): The subtraction method: you introduce all of the possible recommended measures at the same time, and wait for some improvement and then gradually you remove one of the interventions, at least one per week at a time, for example, starting with the one that is the hardest to follow; if the removed measure leads to the situation deteriorating again, we can tell which way the wind is blowing (as it is done in the Whole30 method for food).
