Several months ago I was supposed to debate Israeli ex-historian Benny Morris at the Oxford Union. The Union then approached Mr. Olmert but, according to the Union, Olmert “firmly declined to participate if you [i.e., Norman Finkelstein] were part of the debate. Despite multiple discussions, his position remained unchanged, which subsequently led to Benny Morris withdrawing as well”(https://x.com/normfinkelstein/status/1863481580397731842?lang=en). Poor Mr. Morris, he’s now the last rat left on the sinking ship. The next time we debate at Oxford, I suppose the ex-historian can always lean on Mr. Borrelli VermiNcelli.
