Whilst he was in prison awaiting a court date, the brave victim wrote a letter detailing what Patel had done to her. The victim also suffered multiple sexual assaults from Patel over a 12-month period. In an impact statement to the court, the victim's mum said: “My daughter’s confidence has depleted massively.
