‘Your Party: A New Way of Doing Politics’ will take place at the Grand Venue on Saturday, August 30, as Mr Corbyn aims to rally support for his newly founded left-wing party. Hundreds of people are expected to attend the gathering from across the county to show their support for the new party, founded by Mr Corbyn alongside ex-Labour MP Zarah Sultana. Mr Corbyn has claimed more than 500,000 people had signed up to the party in less than a week. It is not the first time Mr Corbyn will have visited Blackburn, and it was at the same venue to address hundreds in May 2019 when he was leader of the Labour Party. Mr Hussain said: "We are proud to welcome Jeremy Corbyn, former Labour Party leader and lifelong advocate for social justice, as our keynote speaker.
