Madia Kauser was walking with her family in Witton Park last Monday evening (August 11) when a tree branch fell on her. Despite the best efforts of emergency services Mrs Kauser, 32, from Blackburn died at the scene. A joint investigation is underway between police and the Health and Safety Executive, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. Detective Inspector Iain Czapowski said: “This is an absolutely tragic incident which has cost a young woman her life and my thoughts are with her loved ones. “My one and only.”Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log 1553 of August 11.
