COOKSON [mdash] Stella was born on September 12th, 1970, in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of John and Betty (Thompson) Still. She grew up with her sisters by choice Stephanie Inkanish and the late Melissa Thompson-Coach in and around Eastside Tulsa. She attended school in Tulsa, when she wasn't being kicked out of kindergarten for fighting. She later graduated from East Central High School. She then traveled out to Durango, Colorado and made her way back home to Tahlequah, staying here the rest of her life. Throughout the years Stella had many careers but truly found her work family when working for Keetoowah Casino. She was tough as nails and was never scared to back down from a fight or run into a casino. Football was by far her favorite sport, and you could always find her on any football Saturday rooting and yelling for the OU Sooners. She began her journey home April 29, 2025, in Tahlequah. She was 54 years old and will be greatly missed by those she loved and held close. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Drunken and Bessie (Dreadfulwater) Thompson, Tobe and Violet (Johnson) Still, her parents John and Betty (Thompson) Still, her second mom Eva Thompson, a younger baby brother, and her cousin-sister Melissa Thompson-Coach. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Darrell Campbell of the home, daughters Chelsea Mouse, Kimi Teehee, Kristi Campbell, and son Corey Still, grandchildren, Payton Jones, Karsyn Jones, and Jaycee Mouse, Dace Teehee, Kyron Soap, Kenley Campbell, Keegan Hallmark. Sisters by choice Stephenie Inkanish, Lillian Pratt, and Rebecca Dunkle and a host of other chosen children and grandchildren, family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on May 5, 2025, at the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel.
