The funds came from a series of community events, including a tombola at Asda Colne, a Curry Night, and a Charity Ball at Fence Gate. Councillor Aslam said: “As past Mayor of Pendle 2024/25, I am delighted to present this cheque to Pendleside Hospice as one of my chosen charities for my Mayoral year. "This money has been raised through a combination of fundraising events and donations. "It is an honour to be here at Pendleside Hospice. "I would like to congratulate and thank you for the valuable work you do.
