The TikTok video by film-maker Aeman Afzal was filmed in Dunoon Drive, Shadsworth, and begins with a man saying, 'We are taking back our streets - we are taking back our flag.' It satirises the recent wave in people putting up England and UK flags around the country, including some St George's Crosses being painted on mini-roundabouts. The flag of Denmark is the same colours as the St George's Cross but with the colours flipped and the cross offset. The video has clocked up more than 450,000 views since it was posted a couple of days ago. “That’s where the concept came from: starting deadly serious, like a propaganda-style video, but collapsing into comedy over something as silly as painting the wrong flag.
