STILWELL [mdash] Charles Douglas "Pete" Wilkie, born March 16, 1958 in Panama City, Panama- passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, in Tulsa,OK. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Dawn Brown (husband Stephen Lee Brown) and Jessica Lauren Johnson (husband David Matthew Johnson); grandchildren Makayla and Makenna Brown, and Alexander Wilkie; brothers—Lee, Jim, and Shawn Wilkie—and their families.. Along with Pete's chosen brothers, Conrad Trapp and Jimmy Dodd, whose families loved him as their own. Pete was blessed with countless friends. Pete was a linguist for the US Army. Afterwards he worked for Reasors for many years before going back to school to be a Physical Therapy Assistant. He graduated at the top of his class- working in physical therapy for 27 years. Pete found peace and joy in fishing, gardening, and the night sky. He was a steadfast OU Sooners sports fan. He rarely missed a game, often planning life around the Oklahoma Sooners Football and Softball Schedules. A loving father, cherished grandfather, beloved brother, and treasured friend—Pete was a man of wisdom, warmth, and generosity. His legacy will live on through the lives of those he touched.
