Posted by Angela Montana on May 28, 2025According to an article via OutdoorLife, Mark Luster, a self-described “renowned hunter”, is suing a state game warden who he says went full CSI over a patch of dirt. The warden, Dan Henderson, slapped Luster with baiting charges after allegedly shady drone pics and trail cam shots suggested deer snacks had once graced Luster’s land. Now Luster’s firing back with a federal lawsuit, claiming Henderson violated his Fourth Amendment rights and hunted him more than any whitetail. He says the whole case was fueled by envy, bad blood, and maybe a little too much courtroom drama. Henderson’s search warrants, the lawsuit argues, were based on legally questionable drone footage and some creative courtroom storytelling.
