Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the death, but have ruled out a third party being involved. Nicholas Graham, a coroner at Oxford Coroner's Court, will formally open the couple's inquest on Thursday, September 25. Mrs Hoskins recently stood down as the parish council chairman, reportedly to look after her ill husband. Liz Cruse, parish clerk, said on behalf of the council: "Milton Parish Council is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Zena and David Hoskins. "Zena was twice chair of the parish council and only recently stepped down from the council to retire.
