The Wantage Silver Band is a registered charity dedicated to education in music and performance since 1972. This summer it has been performing a series of concerts at Wantage's marketplace, the final one of which occurred yesterday (Sunday, September 21) at 2pm. The spokesperson added: "The sun stayed out for this afternoon's final concert with Wantage Band which featured solos from Grace (Trombone) and James (Euphonium). They added: "Huge thanks once again to Progressive Physiotherapy for their sponsorship and to Wantage Town Council and Wantage Masonic Hall for all their support this year."
