Swedish amusement park Liseberg has announced a new family attraction called Stormvåg, or Storm Wave, for summer 2026. Located between the Fisketuren and Jukebox rides, Stormvåg will take over the area previously home to the iconic Kristallsalongen attraction. “Stormvåg is a bit reminiscent of the classic Top Spin ride, but here the whole family can ride together,” said Kenneth Berndtsson, VP of operations director at Liseberg. The area surrounding Stormvåg will also be refreshed, with new toilets and locker storage added. Then, this summer, Liseberg initiated legal proceedings against the insurance provider Trygg-Hansa, which refused to pay insurance compensation after the Oceana fire.
