Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall (WEM) and Hasbro have announced a licensing agreement to create the first Hasbro theme park in Canada – ‘Galaxyland powered by Hasbro’. The theme park will be transformed with Hasbro brands, including My Little Pony, Mr Potato Head, Monopoly, G.I. Galaxyland will also feature a Hasbro retail experience, as well as themed dining establishments. “We are delighted to welcome Hasbro to Galaxyland,” said Danielle Woo, general manager of West Edmonton Mall. Earlier this year, Entertainment One shareholders voted to approve the proposal for Hasbro to acquire eOne in a $4 billion (£3.3 billion) all-cash takeover.
