Emergency services responded to an incident in Tipperary town today in which a person had a medical emergency in the Blind Street area. It is understood that despite medical care the person, a native of the town, did not survive. The one-way street was closed for a period as Garda and an Ambulance responded to Blind Street and an air ambulance responded by landing in the Abbey School field. The incident occurred close to 2pm. Garda remained at the scene until a funeral service provider could attend the scene.
