The community in Emly and it’s hinterland are being encouraged to take part in a survey to help devise a future development and sustainability plan for the village. The work is being led by the Emly Community Council in collaboration with Tipperary county Council under the SMART villages initiative. The survey will close on Friday September 26th and is available online or in three local businesses – Emly Post Office, McGrath Oil and Callanans. The project is in collaboration with Tipperary County Council, South Tipperary Development Company and TUS – the Technological University of the Shannon.
