"I remember seeing some people doing this Mustang competition online, and that had kind of piqued my interest in Mustangs. At the beginning of the training process, it seemed as if the odds were stacked against Rheeder and her new Mustang, Lainy. Rheeder divulged that she didn't feel ready until right before the competition, which took place over Labor Day weekend. Of the 30 trainers in her division, Rheeder and Lainy took third place in body conditioning and handling, and fourth place in riding. After the competition, Rheeder decided to keep Lainy instead of putting her up for auction like many other competitors do at the end of the competition.
