As a trader, it’s dangerously easy to lose months or even years of progress and trading success by simply risking too much on one trade. This can also be applied to trading in that often the most ‘comfortable’ trade is not the correct trade. Even the best traders are somewhat emotional after a trade finishes, and the best way to avoid letting this emotion influence you into making a ‘stupid trade’, is to simply give yourself some time to ‘cool off’, away from the charts.
