Hunter09/23/25An Iowa City man who was wanted for missing a court date last week was arrested and additionally charged with a separate incident. Due to previous convictions on multiple felonies for drugs, theft and forgery, Preslicka is ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon. He was also wanted for an incident that occurred August 19th at the Iowa City Walmart parking lot. It was determined that he pulled a knife with a 9 ½ inch blade during the altercation. He now faces two counts of Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons and could be sentenced to up to two years in jail if convicted on both charge.
