SARAH GREEN: One of the things you said in the book that really surprised me was that when CEOs and top executives are trying to get better of being more savvy about digital communication and open communication– it’s often through social media channels– is that the people who are sort of most resistant are actually not always the top executives once they get over all these sort of excuses that we were talking about. And the question becomes for us personally as leaders is, how do we get people to feel that way about us in this day and age where so many of our communications are digital now where we don’t have the opportunity to look somebody in the eye and really, say, look in their eye and say, are we good?
